Hi All,

The Oxford Geoengineering Programme (as of today) is hosting a new
blog dedicated to geoengineering. The blog will feature contributions
from researchers all over the world, with the aim of posting new
content every other day or so. It follows a 'series' format where a
single topic is chosen for posts to cover for approximately two months
until the next series begins. This way, all contributors will have a
chance to give their different perspectives on the same set of
topics. The fist series is entitled "Why I Study Geoengineering" and
our inaugural post comes from Jack Stilgoe, a researcher in S&T policy
at the University of Exeter, UK. It is entitled "Canary in the
Gemeinschaft" and I would encourage anyone interested to give it a
read.

We hope that you will check out the blog (http://
www.geoengineering.ox.ac.uk/geoblog/index/) and get engaged in the
discussion. You will be required to register with the site in order
to comment.

Please do contact me ([email protected]) if you are
interested in contributing yourself or have any general comments or
questions about the blog.

All the best,

Nigel Moore
