The Mansfield Program in Ethics and Public Affairs at the University of
Montana is pleased to announce the release of a special section of Ethics,
Policy & Environment on the Ethics of Geoengineering. The articles in this
special section were developed from an NSF sponsored workshop held in
Missoula. The focus is on solar radiation management (SRM), and topics that
are covered are indigenous peoples and governance, integrating science and
ethics, environmental ethics, the precautionary principle, and the politics
of deployment.
