This is absolutely true -- right up to "via chemtrails" in the second sentence, if one thinks of CO2 emissions, climate change, and knock-on effects. Sadly, from "chemtrails" on, the crazy takes over...
I know several people who fervently believe in this stuff, mostly chemtrails and HAARP, and trying to talk to them about it rationally is an exercise in futility. I always try to approach these topics the same way I approach anything science related: I will believe anything that has solid factual and logical backing. When the chemtrails and HAARP people can meet that standard, I'm with them. Until then, they're in the "Elvis invented HIV in a 7-11 store in Memphis while working the third shift with aliens" category.
