Hi All
This paper describes steady marine cloud brightening between + and - 30
degrees latitude. Spray vessels can migrate with the seasons. At high
latitudes around midsummer there is more solar input than in the
tropics. There is a greater fraction of cloud cover, up to 80%. Cloud
levels and the boundary layer depth are lower so the volume of air that
has to be treated is much less. Cooling effects can be concentrated on
air and water approaching the Arctic. We have to expect that for two or
three months the susceptibility at hight latidudes will be several times
greater than in the 30 degree belt. We can even adapt to what el Nino
is doing. Please, climate modellers, try it our way as well as yours.
