*The **Early Career Summer Workshop on Geoengineering, will be held at NCAR, July 20-24, 2015*. The ASP summer workshop on geoengineering is aimed at early career scientists (having received their Ph.D. no more than 5 years prior to the start of the workshop) who have a solid background in atmospheric or climate sciences and a strong interest to learn or extend their knowledge on geoengineering.

The Advanced Study Program (ASP) of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, Colorado, USA, is hosting a one-week summer workshop for up to 20 early career scientists on geoengineering the Earth's climate with a focus on solar radiation management. The goal of the workshop is to introduce interested participants to the topic of geoengineering, critically review the research that has been done in recent years, and discuss present and future research directions. Travel and accommodation expenses for all participants will be provided.

For full information, please visit http://www.asp.ucar.edu/ecsa/geoengineering-workshop.php

*How to apply*

Please submit a CV, a statement of interest in this workshop (300 word maximum), and a budget for needed total or partial travel support together as one pdf file, tohttps://www.regonline.com/earlycareersummerworkshopongeoengineering2015. Please also request a letter of support from your supervisor or department chair to be sent separately [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>.
