A gentle reminder that the abstract submission deadline for the below mentioned 
AGU session is 23:59 EDT August 3. If you have a new idea for a negative 
emissions emissions approach, a new evaluation of an existing method, or new 
insights on the risk/reward of negative emissions in general, this is your 
opportunity to share it with the Earth Science and policy communities. The 
conference is also well covered by the media. 
Hope to see you in San Francisco in December.

Dear Colleagues,  A session (GC051)titled “NegativeEmissions: Staying Below 
2°C” has been approved for the Fall AGU meeting Dec. 12-16,2016, and is now 
open until August 3 to receive abstracts via the submission site. Our intent 
isto provide a well-attended venue for oral and poster presentations covering 
allaspects of carbon dioxide removal including biotic, abiotic and 
hybridapproaches on land or in the ocean. Abstracts dealing with ethics, policy 
andgovernance are also welcome.  Welook forward to your participation in what 
will provide a timely update on themethods, strategies and issues surrounding
