Hi

It costs me a bit to maintain this list. I haven't counted it up, but
probably low hundreds of $ / yr. This mainly goes on paying outsourced
administrators to look up the emails of people who are publishing in the
field - so that they can be invited to the list. I've been paying this
myself for a long time - but I'd like to ramp up the activity. It will cost
me perhaps 400+$ to invite relevant IPCC-cited authors to the list. It's
not like I can't afford it, but it's not obvious why I should pay this
myself.

How do people feel about having a paypal/patreon 'kitty' to cover these
expenses? Alternatively are there any institutions that could sponsor or
fund this work?

Andrew
