"How can we merge the concepts of slippery slopes and the precautionary
principle? James Andow explains how precautionary evaluation of risks can
help us evaluate both the risks of ending up on a slippery slope to
deployment, and the risks resulting from deployment. James argues that we
need to concern ourselves with risks, not just inevitabilities, when
considering slippery slopes. For additional reading discussed, see books

*Solar geoengineering: New weapon to fight climate crisis? | Latest English
News | WION*

As the global temperature of the earth rises, scientists continue the
search for new measures to deal with the climate crises. One such technique
that is now being touted is solar geoengineering. Scientists are still
divided on the use of solar radiation management and only further research
can tell if the method can be used to alter the heat budget.
