We are a group of 5 Youth Climate Voices organizing a Side Event at the UN-ECE Regional Forum on Thursday 30 March, from 1-3 pm (CET), on “Solar Radiation Modification and Youth Perspectives on its governance”. But these last-resort technologies may also present significant risks and limits, from disrupted rainfall patterns to geopolitical tensions. Although younger and next generations would be the most impacted by such technologies, young people still remain largely absent from the main debates on the topic.
