Colleagues:
I am the founder of Reflective Earth, a 501(c)(3). We are developing methods for measuring effectiveness of reflectivity interventions, including SAI and MSB, in megawatts reflected to space. We are seeking coauthors to publish a state of the art estimate of the marginal Social Benefit of Reflection as achieved by any method including reflective covers on large reservoirs. An outline of the objective in the form of a rough first draft is attached. As stated in the draft, we will develop the estimate by using the GIVE model <https://www.rff.org/topics/data-and-decision-tools/rff-berkeley-greenhouse-gas-impact-value-estimator-give-model/> that was used to estimate the Social Cost of Carbon <https://muse.jhu.edu/pub/11/article/857704/summary>. I am hoping that members of this group have expertise and time to contribute or can suggest others who might help. We have funding available for those who need it. We particularly would like to find an economist and someone who has experience using computer models. - Jeff Haley - [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "geoengineering" group.
