The Degrees Initiative supported 11 Degrees Modelling Fund (DMF) <https://www.degrees.ngo/dmf/the-projects/> scientists from across Africa, Asia and South America to attend the 13th GeoMIP <https://climate.envsci.rutgers.edu/GeoMIP/> meeting in Exeter, UK. This was the largest number of developing country researchers ever to attend a GeoMIP meeting. Their presence was intended to better reflect Global South perspectives in the design of future solar radiation modification (SRM) climate models and to help build a global community of experts.
