environmental sustainability studies at The College of St. Benedict/St.
John's University in Collegeville, MN. The department just completed a 5th
tenure-track hire and will be adding this term position to meet student
demand and cover sabbatical replacement for AY 2014-2015.  Salary and

The Environmental Studies Department at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint
John's University invites applications for a full-time one year term
position to begin in fall 2014. Ph.D. in interdisciplinary environmental
studies, sustainability, or a related field preferred (ABD considered).
Undergraduate teaching experience required. The successful candidate will
teach Introduction to Environmental Studies, an upper division course in
Sustainability or Environmental Geography, and additional courses in the
candidate's area of expertise excluding environmental science, agriculture,
history, or policy.

Saint John's University, a liberal arts college for men, and the College of
Saint Benedict, a liberal arts college for women, are located four miles
apart in Central Minnesota just outside St. Cloud and 70 miles from
Minneapolis. Both are Catholic colleges in the Benedictine tradition, which
emphasize quality teaching and a commitment to intercultural learning.
Together, the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University offer a
common undergraduate curriculum, identical degree requirements, and a
single academic calendar. The colleges offer the distinct benefit of
two nationally recognized Catholic, undergraduate institutions and one
