Dear list,
I am attempting to convert some complex VB5 programs I have
previously written, to the Geosoft environment.
In stand alone VB programs I have never used class modules,
which are required for GX programming. Many tasks I have previously coded in
form modules and code modules are not easily transportable to class modules
(by intermediate programmers like myself).
Simply put, the program cycles through a list of maps by the
use of a spinner control. The fields in a form are updated as each map is
loaded and the user can change/update values in this form.
Currently, as an independent program from Oasis Montaj, the
user must load the new maps in Oasis manually each time the spinner is used.
Ideally I would like the old map to close, and the next map
in a sequence to open, when the VB spinner button is pressed.
Does anyone have more complex examples of VB code (than that
which ships with GX Developer) that I could use to understand how to do this
task? Will Geosoft include some more complex VB examples soon?
