Jon,
I agree with you, it happened to me several times. But, as Tom indicated in
one of his mail to the list, modification on any Geosoft program file would
result Service Pack upgrades to fail or apply incorrectly.
Don't you think adding "Default coordinate system", "Default datum",
"Default projection method", and "Default local datum transform", selections
to the "Oasis montaj Settings" menu would make every user in any part of the
world happy? Hopefully in the next major release of Oasis montaj!!!

Subject: [geonet]: FW: Datum
Has anyone else run into this annoyance?
Is it possible to set the default for the Local Datum Transform field for
the NAD27 datum (and others) to blank or unknown instead of [NAD27] Bahamas
(Except San Salvador Island)? One has a tendency to hit the enter key more
quickly than the eye can tell the brain to stop. I know that the ldatum.csv
file can be modified but a more hardwired approach would be preferred.
Jon
