Look for a file called FULLMAP.CON in your Geosoft
directory. Towards the bottom are the title block text
control commands. We have edited these to
standardize all our maps. Note that the file will be overwritten
whenever you upgrade, so you must put the
modified version into the \Geosoft\Users\Etc folder to preserve
your own version.

Subject: [geonet]: text weights
I've been experimenting with the _basemap.con
file that is created when using Mapping/Base map/Draw Base map and then just
using Mapping/Base map/Mapplot control file to see if I can get
_basemap.con to do what I want it to do. I've been experimenting with the
fonts for the text that is placed in the title box. My question is does anyone
know what controls the text weight. For example, I tell the control file to
use a text attribute of att=kt600 for the 1st line of text and an attribute of
kt100 for the 2nd line of text. I expect the frst line to be darker than the
2nd line. This doesn't happen. When I edit the group in Oasis, I both lines of
text have a medium weight. Sometimes I even find that the second line has a
bold weight while the first line has a medium weight. I've been trying to
figure this out for awhile now and can't see a pattern. Does anyone know the
answer to this.
