Here are the sites that I use for most projection information:
http://users.netonecom.net/~rburtch/geodesy/datums.html
This is a good index to many other sites that may be of specific or general
interest.
http://www.ihsenergy.com/?epsg/epsg.html&1
This is the most complete reference that I know of for projection
parameters, formulas, and reference information. Note that this is the new
site for the EPSG information (which I believe was passed on by Alan Reid,
previously on the Petroconsultants site). Note that this site is not always
up, so try again later if you fail to connect.

Subject: [geonet]: projections
Hi there,
a few month ago we had a question involving map projections with special
reference to datum. As a response one of you emailed either an email or
website which had an excellent summary of this. I cannot find it anymore.
If this rings a bell could you please give me the info again?
Thanks,
Beate
