Does anyone have an easy way to remove the crenellated edges of a grid
(square saw tooth edges one grid cell wide and high)? I've got a long thin
strip of data (100x10,000 cells) and I find it's messing up my FFT. The
gridfill doesn't have enough data to work with in one direction so those
single grid cells turning on and off make a substantial difference.

I'm testing a sequence of gridfills, filters and boolean operators, but I
was hoping someone had something easier.
