As usual, by humiliating myself by asking a
question for which I should have known the answer, I came up with the
solution:
Use Grid-utilities-grid profile to obtain profiles
from up to 5 grids. Then use Grid-utilities-grid sample to add the
remaining grids of interest to the database.
