Hello Sindi,

Geosoft doesn't have very good options for merging databases based on 
time. Your best bet is to export your base station data to a text file 
and then reimport it using  the lookup1.gx. To use that gx you will have 
to create a TBL file from the exported mag.  There's a short sample 
below from the help file. You don't need to specify the date channel if 
you can control your selection to run against the relevant data, and the 
time channel can be anything, seconds of the day for example, or my 
favorite, unixtime. I wish UnixTime was used throughout the system to 
replace time and date everywhere.
