Hi,you can try using the plugin in ArcGIS called OATools to plot rose diagrams
and histograms. The Rose tool plots the orientations of lines that can be
weighted by their length, which is needed when faults are divided into several
parts by newer faults. There is an option to add the azimuth of lines into the
attribute table of the lines. The rose shape (shapefile) contains fields for
orientation classes (1-18) and their frequency or total length of lines that
fall within the class (in kilometers).
If you have more questions you can contact the designer of the plugin:
[email protected] add-in (for ArcGIS 10.2) can be downloaded here:

Does anyone know if, in Oasis Montaj or in some module/script, exist a
possibility to have a rose diagram plot from a structural map analysis
(lineaments or CET)?
Thanks
