Thanks for raising this issue. Im not exactly sure how we want to
proceed on this front. The initial goal was to have the eldarion folks
work on the a la carte (pinax starter projects) up front, but it came
to be a blocker on deadlines we needed to meet, so we put it on the
back burner. I will get an update from them to see where they are at
on picking that stuff back up.

Beyond that, I have no real preference on how these features
could/should be brought in. Doing a 1.2 beta with all of them is
certainly ok with me, but I think we should solicit feedback from the
rest of the group before forging ahead on this.

In either case, I would hope that we can have these features more
widely available after the summit/code sprint in February. Im guessing
the sprint will amount to the 'big merge'.
