In two weeks I will be doing a small workshop/training on Geonode in
Kampala, Uganda. It's purpose is:
* Introduce the participants to basics of using Geonode
** Upload data
** Make maps
** Enter meta data
* How to start using Geonode on Ubuntu on virtualbox or by a basic
Ubuntu 10.04 install.
* To stimulate to discussion about how this technology could be the
basis for a clearing house mechanism for environmental data in Uganda
If anyone has related presentations then do not hesitate to send me copies.
I will post links to our own presentations and other resources in a
couple of weeks time.
