Ragnvald, The GeoNode docs [1] and are the best place to start. I've got an updated version that has some updates and *way* more screenshots in the users guide here in a single PDF [2].
To go into more depth on the components that make up GeoNode, the OpenGeo Workshops are the next most important thing to learn about in order to both administer and customize GeoNode sites. I've also compiled a sort of quick tour [3] through the workshops and some additional topics for a recent training I did in Bogor Indonesia.
