Dear list, if I add some layers to a map with geonode which are directly loaded from external wms, geonode requests the GetLegendGraphic Request and gets the required legend from the layers. But they vary in the size in geonode. The requests seems to be correct with the specification of a width and a heigth, but width and height are ignored by some reason (maybe because the are only optional in the WMS specification) and I get a bigger picture than requested. I also read that there is a scale parameter in the request. Is is possible to use this scale paramter to get a common size of the pictures?
Is there a way to specify the legend in the same size apart from the different software product the external WMS uses? Does anyone have experience to handle this kind of problem? I try to pull this question in the geonode list, because the application supports the integration of different data sources in one map application viewer and the portrayal of many legends, but mabe there is a better forum for my question.
