I just tried building MapServer against the GEOS 3.0.0 C API and discovered that the C API there does not seem to have all the methods for accessing points on geometries that are in the 2.2.x branch. I've asked Mateusz to fix this up, if my analysis is correct. I hadn't noticed this before since GDAL doesn't use those extra methods.
