Two?  More like five... shapely, PCL, GeoDjango, GDAL, and GEOS' :)

Oops, forgot MapScript.  Make that six :)

Now the GEOS Python bindings have their own VC++ project though :)

Let me know if you ever want to merge your bindings with the GEOS SWIG bindings. I know SWIG is a bit of a pain, but having both Ruby and Python using the same code would be a good thing from a testing standpoint. I made the bindings model the GEOS object hierarchy, so they should be fairly natural to use (versus procedural API calls).
