So, how do we decide how to proceed lacking a PSC and RFC process? Perhaps Paul (or do we have a current chief developer?) can bless the proposal?
Good question. I have a couple of other things also in the queue that need official blessing (or rejection) - the sort bug and my suggestion to add coordinates to the c api.
