Hi everyone. I have some thoughts on links in the GeoServer Admin UI: Top left corner says "Geoserver" and links to geoserver.org . Most websites/interfaces use the top left hand area as a "go home" space, where one clicks to go back to the beginning. This link, however, takes you completely out of the Admin interface, which trips me up on a daily basis. I recommend having the link be changed to go the Welcome Page.
"My GeoServer": This looks like it should be a link, but it isn't, which also trips me up a fair amount. In lieu of the above, I recommend taking it out altogether. Or... If we want to leave "My GeoServer" in, perhaps we could turn _it_ into the Welcome Page link, and leave the "GeoServer" link as is. If we do that, then the "GeoServer" link should probably be renamed to "geoserver.org" to alleviate confusion. Make sense? Also, now that Codehaus is walled off, there are a bunch of links inside the Admin interface that now should be moved to geoserver.org. I've detected a few, but I imagine there's probably some slick way of doing a global search and replace over all files.
