Graphic stroking full of gaps and issues on corners
---------------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-1877
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-1877
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: WMS
Affects Versions: 1.6.3
Reporter: Andrea Aime
Assignee: Andrea Aime
Fix For: 1.6.4, 1.7.0-beta1
Attachments: RsBaugrenze.svg, strokingHorror.png
As the attached image shows, stroking with a simple graphic (SVG) stroke made
of two lines + white space (to emulate offset drawing, that is, drawing that
starts from the centerline and goes outwards, without the symmetric part
inwards) results in various holes and issues in the corners.
Holes are probably due to an issue in image placement during drawing, whilst
corner issues are due to lack of respect for the css cap parameter (thoght
emulating it with a graphic stroke may prove to be quite complex).
