I already tried, and I got gmaps like popup working, the trouble is that the generally result is just too big for them, with stuff like topp:staes we can have the result as a table of 30 cols and 5-6 rows, just too big for a popup. > Another idea might be an "advanced" pane or something on the pane for > some of the more advanced options like CQL filter. Yeah, I thought about that too... but I don't see how I can make this kind of popup windows without either: * writing a sizeable amount of javascript or * using a ready made library The former is beyond my abilities, the latter will add to the download. Tim, would it be possible to have a very trimmed down very or extjs? Or use something lighter, like jQuery? What it'd like is really just a panel for options and maybe a combo control (dropdown + edit in the same place).
