Hi all, Testing the config work on trunk I noticed a difference in behaviour with aliasing between 1.6.x and trunk when a save occurs. Consider an alias "states_aliased" on everyones favorite "states" layer.
On 1.6.x when a save occurs, the directory "featureTypes/states" stays in tact, and the info.xml file is updated with the alias. However on trunk, when a save occurs, a new directory is created "featureTypes/states_shapefile_states_aliased", with the info.xml copied over. The info.xml in the old states directory is also removed. So I am just unsure if this is the desired behavior or not. If it is, i think there is a bug in that none of the content besides info.xml is copied to the new directory. An example being any of the freemarker templates.
