Trying to build GeoServer trunk from scratch with tests disabled
(-Dmaven.test.skip=true) results in a missing dependency error in trunk (and
possibly on 1.7.x as well).
This seems like a Maven issue. Workaround: build with test compiling included,
but test execution excluded, using:
{{-Dmaven.test.skip.exec=true}}
