Community schemas bindings for GML._Curve and GML._Geometry do not support client properties --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-2041 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-2041 Project: GeoServer Issue Type: Bug Components: Community schema Affects Versions: 1.6.x Reporter: Ben Caradoc-Davies Assignee: Ben Caradoc-Davies Fix For: 1.6.x The community schemas binding overrides for GML._Curve and GML._Geometry convert geometric attributes into their geometry value objects, but ignore requests for client properties set in the mapping file. This causes client properties to not be encoded. When geometry data is present, this is typically not a problem, but it precludes specification-conformant encoding of missing data. For example, in GeoSciML v2, a missing value of of gsml:Borehole/sa:shape should be encoded as <sa:shape xlink:href="urn:ogc:def:nil:OGC:missing"/>. Users would like to set this href in the mapping file, but it is ignored. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Geoserver-devel mailing list Geoserver-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-devel
