I took a quick look through the previous listserv messages, and I did
not see any discussion on this item. What is the current status of SQL
Server 2008 (geometry/geography) support in Geoserver? It looks like it
was a recommended project for the Google Summer of Code
<http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/SQL+Server+2008+DataStore>, but it
was never picked up by anyone. We are just beginning to test SQL Server
2008 geometry types in ArcSDE. While I have great success with
Geoserver (1.7-beta) and ArcSDE, I want to remove the middleware from my
web applications. Any updates would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
