Just an idea I don't want to forget:
- we could have pluggable rendering post processors. They could draw the
watermark, north arrow, scale bar, lenged inside the map, and whatnot
- we could have pluggable preprocessors, such as stuff that actually cuts the
geometries on the bbox (useful to reduce the size of pdf or svg maps).
(actually this one could handle point 1 as well if we had a pluggable
renderer)
