Great. On Debian boxes we have some troubles with the Tomcat they are shipping, it would be good to talk with the guy packaging it and ask if they can lift off some of the security limitations. Otherwise I guess we'll have to package it as a separate thing, and thus eat a separate port for GeoServer...
