The placemark doesn't show here:
http://localhost:8080/geoserver/wms/kml?layers=topp:states&format_options=kmplacemark:true&;
superoverlay_mode=raster
The placemark shows here, however:
http://localhost:8080/geoserver/wms/kml?layers=topp:states&format_options=kmplacemark:true;kmscore:0&mode=refresh
As far as I can tell, these statements should both show placemarks.
