Hi,

Related to http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-2511

I came across one more thing. The name attributes on all the placemarks
were set to the layer name. This behavior has changed a bit from version
to version, so I think I may be missing a patch, but at best I'd get the
fid anyway. I believe this is the reason stuff gets pruned and we can't
find anything but the layers where I manually created all the styling etc.

I think Google really wants a unique name for each of them, else there's
no way to distinguish them in the results list. As a temporary fix, I've
copied a title.ftl that puts the fid in the name tag on all of them, so
at least they're unique.

Mike: If you have time, can you pick some layers that you think make
good examples and update their title.ftls ? Do it directly on the main
geosearch instance, and let me know, I'll reload GeoServer and clear the
gwc cache.

(Again, this is something that needs to be documented, but I've
seriously got bigger fish to fry right this moment, lets look at this
after we decide where geosearch needs to go mid next week.)
