Hi Drew,

based on your previous email I assume you have checked out the 1.7.3 
tag? (As opposed to 1.7.x branch, because everything should be fine in 
the latter).

I have now reconstructed the 1.1.0.jar used when we made the 1.7.3 
release, before it got overwritten.

To force Maven to get it, make sure you delete your local copy first
rm -Rf ~/.m2/repository/org/opengeo/geowebcache/1.1.0
and rebuild <geoserver source dir>/gwc with "clean install"

I don't think there is any advantage to having a geowebcache project 
open in Eclipse (not sure, I don't use it). I believe to actually use 
updated artifacts you have to go via maven anyway.
