Get BBox fails on PostGIS data source

using a PostGIS data source, several tables add fine using the FeatureType
editor window, but several do not.
no sign of 3d data, yet BBox fails with envelope(box3d_extent) does not exist.
workaround is to create a new table with st_force_2d(), which apparently does
fix it..
