Fix For: 2.0.x
Populate the type property on data dir conversion, and when first building new
store info objects (in the CatalogBuilder? the code must be shared by the UI
and the REST configuration). Alternatively, have the property be populated the
first time it's looked up (tricky, that does not trigger a save event so we may
end up doing so over and over).
