We are wanting to talk up the virtues of Geoserver and it's WCS capability, and I'd like to claim that Geoserver is the OGC reference implementation for WCS, as per: http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/Welcome and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_Coverage_Service
