We are wanting to talk up the virtues of Geoserver and it's WCS 
capability, and I'd like to claim that Geoserver is the OGC reference 
implementation for WCS, as per:
http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/Welcome
and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_Coverage_Service

However, this conflicts with the OGC cite here:
http://cite.opengeospatial.org/reference
which notes that Deegree is the reference implementation for Web 
Coverage Service 1.0.0

Is the Geoserver home page claiming more credit than it should?
