Hmmm... I've seen this error some minutes and I believe it has been recently introduced. However, this happens only if the connection to the datastore fails for me, and the actual error is present in the stack trace before this one in the logs. Opened a report for this one (the wicket serialization issue) http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3116 But the failure to connect for WSFV should be something else. You sure you don't have anything else in the logs?
