Usually we stop supporting the old stable release
once a new stable pops up. For 1.6.x there seemed to be some
interest in having one further release after 1.7.0 was released,
but as far as I remember, it never materialized.

So I would be +1 on removing it from Hudson.

Oh, btw, the above is not really a policy, it's mostly a resource
management thing, when a new stable is out all the developers
move into making it better and work starts on the new trunk...
being spread over three branches is usually too much work.
Yet, if anyone is interested in backporting
selected bugfixes into the old series and keep on making releasing,
well, he would be more than welcomed to.
