aside, the documentation on 
<http://docs.geoserver.org/1.7.x/user/tutorials/cql/cql_tutorial.html> 
states "CQL (Catalog Query Language)" when I'm pretty sure the acronym 
actually stands for "Common Query Language" and that's how it's 
documented on <http://geotools.codehaus.org/CQL+Parser+Design>.

Mike could you double check that and update the docs?
