hello, I'm writing a small module to announce the changes in the catalog to
a xmpp server I wrote a class that implements CatalogListener, the method
that is run is just reloaded (), methods handleAddEvent, handleModifyEvent
and handleRemoveEvent are never executed.

my applicationContext.xml is :

when I add a layer in Geoserver, I had expected that the handleAddEvent
method was executed, but does not happen ever
