New layer group UI does not allow to just rely on the layer default style

The new layer group UI does not allow to just say "use the default style" like
the old one did (where you would specify using the default by not naming a
style).
However... what do we do interaction wise? Shall we have a "use default"
button? Or the popup chooser should have a drop down list with two entries,
"use default" and "override", and the style list chooser activates only if the
"override" option is chosen?
