This is a question for the user list. Which you already posted, and I know nobody answered. You should try to resend the question there, all developers are also subscribed to the users list. If nobody answers it either means nobody knows an answer or it takes too much time to investigate and everybody is already full of other work (and nobody has previous experience on the bug you're seeing), or simply the people that could answer are out in vacation. Anyways, even willing, it is not easy to test your request, this is what killed your attempt to get an answer, the WFS people are mostly using ASCII and probably have no time to setup all that is needed to try and reproduce.
