Hi, out of curiosity I logged into our sample Claudius Ptolomaeus gmail address and found there were some user requests sent to him. Unfortunatelly he won't be able to respond not only because he's long dead <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claudius_Ptolemaeus> but because that's not his actual email address.
So I've configured the bellow automatic response in order to redirect users to the geoserver users list. Tell me if the automatic response message makes sense. -- Dear GeoServer user, this email address, [email protected], which you have sent a message to, is NOT a real email address for a GeoServer responsible, but just an example the default GeoServer installation ships with for the contact info page in the administration user interface. We apologize for the confusion. In order to actually send requests to the GeoServer community, please send your message to the GeoServer Users Mailing List: <[email protected]>. Note, however, that you will need to be signed up to this mailing list in order to post your message. If you don't still have signed up for a geoserver-users account, you can easily subscribe at this URL: <https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-users>.
