Hi, shortly before FOSS4G a GSIP about an alternative roadmap process was put togheter. Due to the bad timing it was not presented to the community thought, but here it is: http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/GSIP+43+-+Roadmap+and+release+handling+process Comments and feedback appreciated.
If we want to stick with a monthly release cycle the 2.0.1 release is due to come out very soon now (couple of weeks at most) so it's important we take some decisions soon. It's also important to get organised on trunk, I know there are at least three big set of patches that are being prepared and we need to properly coordinate to ensure a successful application of them.
